Chunyaxche / Ruinas Muyil

Here's a few pictures from a rainy walk at the Ruins of Muyil, also known as Chunyaxche. Located 25 kms south of Tulum, these ruins have a less explored, less touristy vibe then some of the larger ruins in the area. Lots of piles of stones and unexcavated buildings hidden in the jungle. Behind El Castillo is a series of boardwalks through the jungle that lead to Laguna Muyil and boat tours of the Sian Kaan Biosphere. (for a price)
Top to Bottom: Plaza de la Entrada and Estructura 7H-3, Templo 8 (Estructura 9K-1), Estructura 8I-13 (El Castillo),  Estructura 9K-23. Noblex Panoramics.
